This notice explains how VALO Automotive Ltd (“VALO”, “we”, “us”) uses the personal information collected through the VALO pre-launch website and early-access list.
Who is responsible for your information?

What we collect
When you join the early-access list, we collect your email address, the date and time you joined, how you joined, and a record of the consent wording you accepted.
How we use it
We use this information to manage the early-access list, send product-development news, invite suitable people to test VALO, and let you know when VALO becomes available.
Our lawful basis
We rely on your consent. Joining is optional and you can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@valoauto.com. Future emails will also provide a clear way to unsubscribe.
How long we keep it
We normally keep early-access information until you withdraw consent, or for no more than 24 months after our last meaningful contact with you. We may retain a minimal suppression record where necessary to respect an unsubscribe request.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to host the website, store sign-ups and deliver email. They may only use your information to provide those services to VALO. We do not sell your personal information.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we require appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for the transfer.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your information, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Contact us using the email above. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
